Neuralk-AI is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the integration of our solution into client ecosystems. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of Neuralk-AI and be located in our Paris or London office.

Our product is a Data Science agent, powered by our Foundation Models, that assists data scientists throughout their workflow, from problem framing to robust, production-ready models. We focus on the hardest and most common data problems in companies: structured datasets describing customers, operations, risks or financial activity.

Mission Highlights

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Neuralk AI, you sit at the intersection of technology, product, and go-to-market. You work hand-in-hand with Account Executives and internal teams to help prospects and customers evaluate, adopt, deploy and derive value out of Neuralk’s predictive AI solutions.

Your role spans both pre-sales and post-sales:

  • Pre-sales: technical discovery, use case scoping, evaluations, demos, and early customer discussions.
  • Post-sales: acting as the first-level technical owner, coordinating deployments across data science, infrastructure, and product teams.

While you can rely on subject-matter experts when needed, you are expected to be a strong technical generalist, able to lead conversations end-to-end, translate customer needs into concrete technical plans, and orchestrate execution as complexity grows.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales & Revenue Enablement
    • Partner closely with Account Executives and GTM leadership to support the full sales cycle, from initial technical discussions to deal closing.
    • Lead technical discovery with prospects: understand their data landscape, constraints, evaluation criteria, and success metrics.
    • Identify and engage technical champions within customer organizations.
    • Design and drive technical evaluations:
      • define the right scope and use cases
      • establish clear evaluation methodologies and success criteria
      • anticipate risks and objections
      • optimize internal resource allocation during the sales cycle
    • Run product demos and technical deep dives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Own technical inputs throughout the sales process:
      • security and compliance questionnaire
      • technical and architectural discussions
      • platform requirements and constraints
    • Support business case validation, pricing discussions, and technical input during negotiations and closing.
  • Post-Sales & Implementation Support
    • Act as the first technical point of contact after signature, ensuring continuity from evaluation to deployment.
    • Coordinate customer implementation across:
      • data science / modeling
      • infrastructure and deployment
      • use-case scoping and ML workflows
    • Help translate customer objectives into concrete, well-scoped ML projects.
    • Support customers in defining adoption milestones and success metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration
    • Serve as the interface between customers and internal teams (product, engineering, research).
    • Share field learnings, objections, and feedback to improve product positioning, evaluation frameworks, and GTM processes.
    • Contribute to building repeatable sales and deployment best practices.
  • Customer Enablement & Adoption
    • Support customer onboarding through documentation, guidance, and hands-on assistance.
    • Help customers become autonomous users of Neuralk’s platform.
    • Ensure long-term adoption by aligning technical delivery with measurable business impact.

Profile

  • Background as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, technical consultant, pre-sales or post-sales engineer in a data / AI environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-makers.
  • Solid technical foundation enabling you to:
    • understand ML pipelines and modeling approaches
    • discuss infrastructure and deployment constraints
    • credibly present and position complex AI solutions
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales cycles.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

Bonuses

  • Previous experience in a B2B deeptech or startup environment, especially involving complex technologies to integrate and deploy.
  • Experience working in an international context, with global customers or distributed teams.

Expertise

  • Strong software engineering background in Python, with experience building and operating production-grade systems.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs and backend services (e.g. FastAPI, Flask), and with ML pipelines used in real-world customer use cases.
  • Familiarity with data systems (SQL / NoSQL) and cloud or hybrid deployments (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Pragmatic delivery mindset: able to prototype, iterate, and make sound technical trade-offs under ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills, acting as a technical bridge between customers and internal product and engineering teams.
  • Experience with frontend technologies (React / TypeScript) or scripting/automation is a plus, but not required.
